Schedule for 2009-2010 season
Association Meetings:
The Tinker Officials Association meet on Mondays beginning August 17, 2009, thru October 19, 2009. Meetings are held at the Tom Steed Center located at Rose State College in Midwest City, OK (map). Meetings start promptly at 6:00pm and end at 7:30pm (past 7:30pm is optional). Check the calendar for Monday meetings for 2009. There will be no meeting on Labor Day holiday, nor on the Monday that the OSSAA State Rules meeting is held. Agenda for association meetings can be found at Mondays Agendas page.
Training
Held on Saturday mornings for 6 to 10
Saturdays (spread over August into October). Most all training will be held
at the Del City Church of Christ Family Life Center, 1901 Vickie Dr in Del
City, OK (map). Limited space available. $25 registration fee due at first
session you attend. See the Training page for more details and Registration
to reserve your spot. Check this site to see confirmed schedule during July.
Floor Training (mechanics) - usually for new officials and officials with 1
year experience. Time is 10:00am till noon, held on the court.
Academic Training - classroom instruction
held on Saturday mornings from 8:00am till 10:00am. This is basketball
Rules 101, usually for new officials and officials with 1 years experience.
Advance Training - for officials looking to take their game to the next level, (i.e. high school varsity, collegiate, or professional).
Purpose is to equip officials with the skills and knowledge to improve in 5 areas of their game: play calling, appearance, court presence, fitness, and communication. Classroom,
on court instruction and calling games will be the settings, times will be from 8:00am till noon.

High School & Jr High Scrimmages: usually begin in October and November.
